oxideqt-codecs-extra software package provides Web browser engine for Qt (codecs), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install oxideqt-codecs-extra
oxideqt-codecs-extra is installed in your system.
Make ensure the oxideqt-codecs-extra package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep oxideqt-codecs-extra *
You will get with oxideqt-codecs-extra package name, version, architecture and description in a table
